Lovely Victorian cast iron combination grate cast in a gothic style. Circular Floral bosses decorate both sides of the fireplace with an arch in the centre in typical gothic style.

There is some interesting decoration under the shelf with a mixture of Ganja leafs and possibly poppy plants. The Victorians were known to use these plants for remedial purposes to aid in pain relief before paracetamol was invented.

Supplied with original antique cast iron back, back flap & grate. Replacement ashpan cover included.
